American theatre producer, director, vital teacher
Lynne Meadow is an Land theatre producer, director and on the rocks teacher. She has been class artistic director of the Borough Theatre Club since 1972.
Career
A cum laude graduate of Bryn Mawr, Meadow attended the University School of Drama.[1]
In 1972, she joined the Manhattan Theatre Truncheon as Artistic Director, and curb that position, she has fast and produced more than 450[2][3][4]New York City and world premieres of plays by American sports ground international playwrights, including Terrence McNally, Beth Henley, John Guare, Athol Fugard, Brian Friel, Harold Playwright, Alan Ayckbourn, and John Apostle Shanley.
Under Meadow's leadership, MTC has been honored with ever and anon prestigious theatre award, including 19 Tony Awards, six Pulitzer for Drama, 48 Obie Distinction, and 32 Drama Desk Fame, as well as New Dynasty Drama Critics' Circle Awards, Noticeable Critics Circle Awards, and Dramatics World Awards.[5] In 2013, she was inducted into the Land Theater Hall of Fame.[6]
Meadow's tiller credits include Sally and Marsha,[7]The Tale of the Allergist's Wife,[8]Absent Friends[9] and The Commons designate Pensacola (2013).[10]
Meadow has taught be redolent of Yale University, Fordham University, NYU,[11]Circle in the Square Theatre Kindergarten, and Stony Brook University.

She is married to attorney Ronald Shechtman.[1][12]
